'Excellent sets by one of the tightest live bands around, with one of the most talented  singer/songwriters out front.

They deserve much greater recognition'

- Richard Donnelly Coolham Live Music Club

Nominated for 'Breakthrough Act of the Year' at the Blues Awards 2024,

Amba is beginning to make her mark on the scene...

Singing Soulstress from the South Coast brings you ‘Cinematic Soul’, a powerful sound that blends brand new music with old school vibes, creating songs that have the power to transport you back in time. With a heavy dose of commercial blues and RnB thrown in, there are influences of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Lady Wray and Alicia Keys evident in her writing and performance. Whether she's out acoustically or with her full band, Amba delivers a huge, gritty, unadulterated soul show and packs a big punch with her live vocals. Her songs are real stories about passion, love, heartbreak and honest feelings…

Some will even move you to tears.

Amba is a firm fixture on the gig scene, be it fronting classic soul show band 'The Soul Session', out performing her own music or providing backing vocals for legends such as Boy George and Eva Cassidy. Since the moment she left school she has played thousands of gigs, provided vocals for past and present superstars, appeared on over 200,000 playlists worldwide with her covers band 'Blame Jones',  (who can be heard on TV shows such as Love Island, Greatest Dancer, Strictly Come Dancing spin off 'It takes two') and she has even enjoyed recognition for her own music by BBC introducing and radio stations worldwide.

Amba was also a featured singer on BBC1's 'I can see your voice' season one 2021.
